Refund Policy

14-day refund window

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your order date. This covers subscriptions, Own Key licences, top-ups and clean-up packs.

Used credits

Image credits that have already been used are not refundable, because each one costs us real AI processing. If you've used part of a plan, top-up or clean-up pack, we'll refund the unused portion pro rata. If you've used all of it, no refund is due.

Own Key licences

Own Key licences can be refunded in full within 14 days. Charges from OpenAI for your own API key are between you and OpenAI and are not refundable by us.

Renewals

Renewal payments can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal date, minus any credits used since renewal. You can cancel any time before renewal to avoid the next charge.

Fair use

We may refuse refunds where there is clear abuse, such as repeated buy-use-refund patterns.

How to request a refund

Refunds are handled by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle. Visit paddle.net and look up your order, or email hello@alttextmeta.com and we'll sort it out for you.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net. Your licence keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Plan changes

Upgrades and downgrades apply immediately. The price difference is charged or credited pro rata.
